This 1930’s style property in Chingford needed that special addition to enhance the living space and maximise the potential of this lovely house. We created this full width infill and rear addition extension to incorporate a utility room and kitchen / diner and family room.
The full extension with roof lantern & further rooflights added light to the original rear dining room and created a stunning area where the finishes including the kitchen, flooring and external paving all completed this fabulous project.

We created a stunning rear ground floor extension to replace a small galley style original kitchen lacking light or function with this double bi-fold corner structure having a lead roof with electric operated rooflights, a beautiful kitchen then finished off this now amazing addition to this period property.
New heating, electrical, windows, paving & addition of a new utility room has transformed this house and how it is used.

This new project is being developed to provide a disabled adaptation for this family house. To include a 2 storey side and part rear extension with adapted bathroom, hoist & track ceiling system, internal lift, carer bedroom & new living area & entrance on the ground floor to link and interconnect with the kitchen & current home.
A new ground floor toilet and enlarged openings & doorway to facilitate moving around the home with the hoist system and wheelchair as needed will make this a special project for us to deliver. We have a vast experience in adapting homes for disabled persons and also older people where wanting to remain in their own homes and where we create ‘A home for life’.
Working with the local authority and helping to obtain Disabled Facilities Grant funding where possible to assist providing the care service and building into what we develop.
New Extension to a period home – August 2020

This new extension to create a stunning new kitchen & living space and to integrate a now typical under-used garage and make part of the home. The garage now becomes the utility room and the kitchen extension and family dining area now overlooks the beautiful gardens. The new bespoke handmade kitchen set in the new extension with Crittal steel double glazed windows, lead to the new patio, with a mix of tiled and limestone finishes.
Outside where seated in the glass and steel garden room with bespoke Corten heater and adjoining barbecue gives sight back toward the beautiful new addition to this house.
A special arrangement of strucural steelwork was needed to build this while retaining the original 1st floor bathroom above part of the new ground floor. The new bathroom being totally re-fitted finishing what is the final pieces into this lovely home.
The whole project included beutiful new handmade kitchen, flooring & tiling, outdoor paving & patios, and of course an ugly beast of a garage is now the stunning addition housing the new boot room & utility space for the home.

We developed, designed and constructed a complete new Driving Range and practice facility area with a new 36m x 6m bespoke design, steel framed, metal roof covered driving range building, with integrated disabled access toilets, a fully insulated, highly secure 50sqm professional swing studio with double bays & electric opening roller shutter, entrance reception with secure storage, 10 covered internal practice bays with seating and with an additional 10 external bays. All into an amazing looking, heated, floodlit range building, timber cladded exterior with natural rooflighting, automated opening doors, a security system with night vision optical surveillance, interconnected proximity detection & alarms protecting the facility 24 hours with remote monitoring. We installed a Trackman golf technology system providing state of the art training and individual progress tracking and gaming to make what is one of the the best practice facility in the UK and which has already been visited by many other top class clubs, with an eye to replicate themselves.
Along with the actual building itself, we also installed a new 3 phase power supply, all the power & lighting required, bay heaters, the doors, windows, ball dispensers and storage areas to complete the whole facility. We also installed the water & drainage system, fully landscaped around the facility providing all new tarmac pathways & routes to other practice areas including the putting green, and short game chipping & bunkers. This area constructed to provide a massive 1500msq pracice ‘Wedge World’ experience.
The facility is fully lit with floodlighting the outfield practice range and also the chipping areas, this all designed with our specialist lighting team to provide a very cost effective, long lasting, low running cost LED lighting system, that has no adverse impact to the neighbouring areas & properties. The building & approaches are also subtly lit to showcase the facility.
The building & practice facilities are an example of what is possible, where we were able to put in place without affect on any normal operation of the golf club, course or other business operations. We achieved a ready to use, turnkey design, that we were able to offer our client. We were involved at an early stage and were able to achieve costs savings against competitor bids in the region of over £110,000+vat. This has been our 1st build of such facility, and has demonstrated that we can build a client led design, one developed specifically for the need of that client and to a far superior quality than others were able to offer and with huge savings possible, which means we can utilise this for future similar projects in the golf club industry.

A complete new building created as a Halfway-Hut incorporating a cafe & toilets at the West Essex Golf Course both fully designed, constructed & fully fitted out by Dendale Construction and ready for use.
The whole aspect including the planning application, drawings and dealing with underwriters together with the actual build was all undertaken in-house by the team at Dendale and leaving the client free to continue their own business uninterrupted.
Now the building is the envy of many visiting golfers, no doubt wishing they also had one of the finest on-course facilities in the country.
Building Bridges – Rather repairing!

Here a typical restoration for the Corporation of London and where tasked with repairs to a stone bridge within a North London park. Scaffolding access across the waterway and Helibar resin repairs, stoneworks, cleaning & re-pointing leaving to like original and nothing been done, was as the requirement.

West Essex Golf Club in North East London and bordering Essex on the fringes of Epping Forest is a stunning Golf course and which needed a stunning bar & restaraunt to match the class of the venue.
Dendale were chosen to deliver on this and have created this amazing bar with adjoining restaraunt that opened in July 2020 and is immediateley providing a great return on that investment. The bar & catering is turning over in excess of 4 times it’s normal income and with both members and visitors loving the result of our hard work and wanting to be there to enjoy this amazing space.
Dendale designed fully the layout, furnishing, bar & extended with new full height bi-folding doors, new entrance area, repositioned exsiting rooms, stairs and offices to better provide a layout that matches modern requirements.
The new entrance to the function room captures the golfing aspect with honour boards, and a spike or golfers area with photo’s of the history retain the golf club feel but with a now West End high quality styling to ensure members feel specially catered for, while also making a space for functions to enjoy and pay a premium for use of.
We have incorporated the new extension to include a new bar layout & equipment, back bar display & machinery & lighting, designed the feature ceilings to illuminate with Lutron light controls, a bespoke sound & vision system, new display cabinets, coffee station and equipment, new bar fonts and lines fed from a newly fitted out chiller / cellar. The new pannelling along the walls, the and additional cloakroom, decoration, carpetting & hard flooring throughout, all add to the complete new feel.
Installation of complete new power & lighting, air-conditioning & insulation with new roof covering and double glazed doors make this space also very much improved in terms of the heat loss previously experienced.

Holiday Let Re-Purpose

Our client the City of London Corporation, required the re-purposing of an empty property and transforming a virtual derelict and unused house, and working it into a new fully refubished holiday let. The revenue possibilities will far exceed that which could be recovered from a standard residential lease, and so we were tasked with making this somewhat ugly house into what is now a beautiful cottage, set within Epping Forest and which shall be in great demand to be used in the future.
With the whole ground floor reconfigured, some structural alterations and with new doors & windows throughout, a new kitchen and luxury bathroom, new central heating and beautiful radiators, fully plastered and decorated, new flooring, curtains and fully furnished this now stunning cottage is ready for visitors to enjoy.

A huge & once lovely home in North Chingford needed a lot of love and a full refurbishment. Dendale were chosen to deliver a complete project involving every room in the house and by adding a huge side & rear extension to house, garage, gymnasium, plant room, kitchen, dining & new toilet and utility rooms, then extending into the loft creating a new stuning bedroom, what we delivered was a beautiful new home for the client to move back into once complete.

When the client is responsible for looking after our forests and walks, were were asked to build a new footbridge across a small brook deep within Epping Forest.
A very heavy hardwood construction with parapets across a small expanse, needed a lot of materials for both the bridge construction & the groundworks, transported into a non traffic or vehicle accessible area within the forest. We needed to utilise Gators & dumpers to transport tools & tonnes of material, but while also considering leaving no trace that we had worked in this protected area which serves as a busy route for walkers.
All removed, renewed & finished in just 5 days and the pathway back open and in use.

Many tonnes of material were required, with machinery preparing the ground, clearing culverts, ditches and improving the flow of the watercourse.
New culverts, pipework and banking created, with vegetation cut back, new hessian bagwork walling creating retaining parapets and all in accordance with the permits issued by the LA, with our design agreement carried out with Land Drainage consents, we delivered a 1st class project for the client, which the public now have year round unincumbered use, to an area of high foot traffic, giving access throughout the forest.

A complete new building created as a Halfway-Hut incorporating a cafe & toilets at the West Essex Golf Course both fully designed, constructed & fully fitted out by Dendale Construction and ready for use.
The whole aspect including the planning application, drawings and dealing with underwriters together with the actual build was all undertaken in-house by the team at Dendale and leaving the client free to continue their own business uninterrupted.
Now the building is the envy of many visiting golfers, no doubt wishing they also had one of the finest on-course facilities in the country.

West Essex Golf Club in North East London and bordering Essex on the fringes of Epping Forest is a stunning Golf course and which needed a stunning bar & restaraunt to match the class of the venue.
Dendale were chosen to deliver on this and have created this amazing bar with adjoining restaraunt that opened in July 2020 and is immediateley providing a great return on that investment. The bar & catering is turning over in excess of 4 times it’s normal income and with both members and visitors loving the result of our hard work and wanting to be there to enjoy this amazing space.
Dendale designed fully the layout, furnishing, bar & extended with new full height bi-folding doors, new entrance area, repositioned exsiting rooms, stairs and offices to better provide a layout that matches modern requirements.
The new entrance to the function room captures the golfing aspect with honour boards, and a spike or golfers area with photo’s of the history retain the golf club feel but with a now West End high quality styling to ensure members feel specially catered for, while also making a space for functions to enjoy and pay a premium for use of.
We have incorporated the new extension to include a new bar layout & equipment, back bar display & machinery & lighting, designed the feature ceilings to illuminate with Lutron light controls, a bespoke sound & vision system, new display cabinets, coffee station and equipment, new bar fonts and lines fed from a newly fitted out chiller / cellar. The new pannelling along the walls, the and additional cloakroom, decoration, carpetting & hard flooring throughout, all add to the complete new feel.
Installation of complete new power & lighting, air-conditioning & insulation with new roof covering and double glazed doors make this space also very much improved in terms of the heat loss previously experienced.

We developed, designed and constructed a complete new Driving Range and practice facility area with a new 36m x 6m bespoke design, steel framed, metal roof covered driving range building, with integrated disabled access toilets, a fully insulated, highly secure 50sqm professional swing studio with double bays & electric opening roller shutter, entrance reception with secure storage, 10 covered internal practice bays with seating and with an additional 10 external bays. All into an amazing looking, heated, floodlit range building, timber cladded exterior with natural rooflighting, automated opening doors, a security system with night vision optical surveillance, interconnected proximity detection & alarms protecting the facility 24 hours with remote monitoring. We installed a Trackman golf technology system providing state of the art training and individual progress tracking and gaming to make what is one of the the best practice facility in the UK and which has already been visited by many other top class clubs, with an eye to replicate themselves.
Along with the actual building itself, we also installed a new 3 phase power supply, all the power & lighting required, bay heaters, the doors, windows, ball dispensers and storage areas to complete the whole facility. We also installed the water & drainage system, fully landscaped around the facility providing all new tarmac pathways & routes to other practice areas including the putting green, and short game chipping & bunkers. This area constructed to provide a massive 1500msq pracice ‘Wedge World’ experience.
The facility is fully lit with floodlighting the outfield practice range and also the chipping areas, this all designed with our specialist lighting team to provide a very cost effective, long lasting, low running cost LED lighting system, that has no adverse impact to the neighbouring areas & properties. The building & approaches are also subtly lit to showcase the facility.
The building & practice facilities are an example of what is possible, where we were able to put in place without affect on any normal operation of the golf club, course or other business operations. We achieved a ready to use, turnkey design, that we were able to offer our client. We were involved at an early stage and were able to achieve costs savings against competitor bids in the region of over £110,000+vat. This has been our 1st build of such facility, and has demonstrated that we can build a client led design, one developed specifically for the need of that client and to a far superior quality than others were able to offer and with huge savings possible, which means we can utilise this for future similar projects in the golf club industry.

Our client the City of London Corporation, required the re-purposing of an empty property and transforming a virtual derelict and unused house, and working it into a new fully refubished holiday let. We completed a full new roof replacement of the slate, lead, & asphalt roofs, with new timber handmade double glazed box sash windows, general joinery repairs and various other improvements.

When the client is responsible for looking after our forests and walks, were were asked to build a new footbridge across a small brook deep within Epping Forest.
A very heavy hardwood construction with parapets across a small expanse, needed a lot of materials for both the bridge construction & the groundworks, transported into a non traffic or vehicle accessible area within the forest. We needed to utilise Gators & dumpers to transport tools & tonnes of material, but while also considering leaving no trace that we had worked in this protected area which serves as a busy route for walkers.
All removed, renewed & finished in just 5 days and the pathway back open and in use.
