Full house renovation to a virtual derelict property in North London.
The project involved a new rear extension replacing what was effectively collapsed original, giving a new larger kitchen area, together with new and re positioned staircase to the 1st floor. We also created a ground floor cloakroom, opening the ground floor area allowing light to spread the living space created.
Additionally, traditional timber sash double glazed windows were replaced to the front and modern black framed aluminium doors and windows to the rear- mixing traditional with modern styling. This process was delivered with the rest of the house restoration. We re-plastered every wall and renewed every ceiling, replaced rotten floors and restored the original old doors. Created the space and installed for the first time a beautiful bathroom on the 1st floor.
The kitchen is a handmade bespoke design with concrete work surfaces and is a perfect fit within the space we created.
Undertaking a full rewire central heating system, making the home as energy efficient as possible.
We have now created a beautiful family home that was transformed from a very dated original Victorian terrace. The building, having been neglected for well over 50 years, was crying out for modernisation.
Complimented with restoring the frontage by cleaning the yellow stock brick façade, replacing damaged bricks and then fully repointing with reinstatement of the weather struck pointing techniques and this with the full external painting, restored and upgraded roof, this home now has the kerbside appeal it deserves.
The whole project had been managed in house by Dendale and all trades were our own specialists delivering everything needed to create and deliver something we are very proud of.
These types of projects are what we do best and what we a proven for over 25 years to deliver
