Sarre Road, Hampstead

Client: Camden Housing
Location: NW London £300,000

Full house renovation to a period property in Hampstead, NW London.

The project involved major structural repairs where severe movement had left the house needing underpinning and partially rebuilding to the rear extension.

We rebuilt the rear of the property, giving it a new traditional slate roof, new structural beam and block ground floor new ceilings throughout with internal thermal insulation to all the exterior walls, new traditional and very intricate conservation design double glazed timber box sash windows and renovated entrance door. New rear French doors onto a newly laid patio and garden sets it ready to again be a fantastic family home.

We renewed all the doors and frames, new floors, skirting’s and re-plastered every wall and ceiling, replaced and restored the original ornate cornices throughout and with a new bathroom, kitchen and all new electrics and heating system, this now makes the home as energy efficient as is currently possible as a retro-fit scheme, being upgraded to a Greendeal standard is helping save energy.

We have now created a beautiful family home, finished and ready to move into including the carpets and landscaping that has been transformed from a house desperate for some major work. Complimented with restoring the frontage by cleaning the soft red brick façade, replacing damaged bricks and then fully re-pointing with reinstatement of the weather struck pointing techniques and this with the full external painting, this now restored & upgraded home, now has the kerbside appeal it deserves and commands the high value these properties achieve.

The whole project had been managed in house by Dendale and all trades were our own specialists delivering everything needed to create and deliver something we are very proud of and indeed the clients are extremely pleased with.

These types of projects are what we do best and what we a proven for over 25 years to deliver.
